Whether you want to make the most of the long weekend with your friends, if you’re travelling as a family, or if you want a romantic break away, there is something for everyone this Halloween in the Boyne Valley. Here is a three-day itinerary to keep everyone happy.
Day One
Arrive at your accommodation destination in the Boyne Valley on Thursday the 31st or Friday the 01st of November. All of our accommodation members have great offers at the moment for mid-term break and Autumn special offers too.
You will have a list of activities to choose from on Thursday (Halloween night) including The Lú Festival of Lights in Drogheda, Púca Festival , Funtasia Waterpark Halloween event, Farmaphobia, and more.
Why not start your trip to the Tricky Trail at Emerald Park followed by Sorcas na Samhna in Athboy.

Finish off the evening with a lovely dinner in one of our many restaurants or Hotels before settling into your accommodation for the night.
Day Two
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in your hotel before spending the rest of the day discovering the Boyne Valley. There are lots of activities happening for the Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival on Friday the 1st of November!
Book into the Circus workshop in Athboy, enjoy all the festivities at Red Mountain Open Farm, Sorcas na Samhna in Athboy, Farmaphobia and more.
In the evening time, choose from The Lú Festival of Lights in Drogheda or The Púca Festival in Athboy or Trim.
On Saturday you can also enjoy the Púca Festival Opening Procession in the heritage town of Trim from 6.30pm.

Day three
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in your hotel before spending the rest of the day discovering the Boyne Valley. There are lots of activities happening for the Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival on Saturday the 2nd of November!
All of Fridays’s activities for the Spirits of Meath Festival will run again on Saturday just in case you missed out on any the day before.
Extend your stay in the Boyne Valley this Halloween and enjoy lots of more events by day and by night at the Spirits of Meath Festival. May of the events above start running from the 4th of October so the Bank Holiday weekend may suit to travel instead.
The Samhain Festival of food and culture is also running from the 8th to the 10th of November in the Heritage town of Kells.
