Let them loose to enjoy the day with footgolf, pedal go-karting, mini golf, the obstacle course and more! There are activities for smaller kids too so you won’t be worried about leaving anyone out.
Let their sense of adventure really shine at the Irish Military war museum outside Collon in County Meath. The museum houses one of the finest collections of WW2 Allied and Axis vehicles and all deactivated weapons ever assembled in Ireland. There is also a family friendly park with a petting farm, playground and assault course to keep all ages happy.
Discover Funtasia themepark in Drogheda or their waterpark re-opening on the 9th of April. There are over 15 different activities to enjoy in the theme park from bowling to climbing walls and who doesn’t enjoy a trip to a waterpark!
This activity is reserved for just teenagers (over 14’s) and the adults in the family. This exciting outdoor kart racing venue is located just 8 minutes from Drogheda, on the Dunleer - Collon Road. They will provide you with all the equipment you need from helmets, suits, gloves etc!
Think virtual reality, laser tag, indoor karting, bowling and more. They won’t want to leave The Zone activity centre in Navan! For the smaller members of the family there is also a soft play area on site as well as a café- this one ticks all the boxes!
If there are Game of Thrones fans in the family, then this experience is a must. Guided by Ross Kenny, a skilled boat builder and storyteller, paddle through the hidden beauty of the Boyne Canal, our ancient waterway. If you are lucky, Ross will tell you all about his time on the set of Game of Thrones with his boats!
Take a kayaking tour, rent your own kayak or experience the floating through time tour along the Boyne Blueway Trim with Boyne Valley Activities. Experience the landscape from a different perspective and make memories on the water!
Another great way to see the landscape around Slane from a different perspective is by going on a kayak trip with Rock Farm in Slane. Another great experience is a rafting trip for teenagers over the age of 16.
Not just for kids, Tayto Park is a great day out for teenagers too. Let them get their thrills on the Cú Chulainn Roller Coaster, the Air Race, the extreme climbing wall and so much more. This is a great day out for the entire family with plenty for smaller kids too.
The perfect activity to please all the prospective chefs in your family! Lismullin cookery school often run teenage cook camps as well as family cook days. Something that the entire family can get involved in and you benefit from having your own personal cook in the future!
