Get paddling as a family with Boyne Boats. Your guide Ross offers group and family guided tours down the mythical Boyne Canal and onto the river itself. Situated just outside Kells, Causey Farm is the place to go to meet the animals and have a great day out. Their summer camp is back for 2023 with an action-packed itinerary promised for your kids.
Irelands only theme park and Zoo is an unmissable day out on your trip to the Boyne Valley. With thrill-seeking attractions, a junior area, playgrounds, shows and entertainment plus a fantastic zoo which is home to over 250 animals!
Situated just off the Royal Canal Greenway, Enfield Fairy Trail is a treasuer trove for smaller kids looking to explore! The trail is full of fairy doors, houses, ladybirds and even a couple of thrones.
There is no end of fun to be had at Funtasia Theme Park Drogheda. Discover the thrills and spills galore to be had in Funtasia’s 35,000 sq ft Waterpark or the many fairground attractions.
Irish Military War Museum and Family Park
As well as housing the amazing Irish Military War Museum, you will also find a family friendly park with petting farm, playground and assault course.
Limullen School of Culinary Arts
The perfect place for your junior chef to get stuck in to making some culinary delights. The school also runs a kids cooking camp during the summer months.
The Fairy Trail at Loughcrew Gardens is an exciting interactive sensory trail which gets children exploring Loughcrew Gardens and it is now open all year round! To complete the treasure hunt style trail, they will get an activity booklet and map and will have to solve clues and answer questions in order to get to the next part of it. It will get your children using their imaginations and embracing the outdoors and they may even spot some fairies as they explore! It is a great activity for grandparents and parents to enjoy too.
Navan Adventure Centre offers a great day out for the entire family. Situated just outside Navan, their Family Fun Package offers 5 amazing activities- Mini Golf, Bouncy Inflatables, Pedal Go-Karting, Football Golf and our all new adventure playground!
Enjoy some time on the farm at Newgrange Farm in the Boyne Valley. Meet all the animals, feed the lambs, meet the pigs and play hide and go seek in the hay shed! The farm is now open 7 days a week!
