Trim
Trim's St. Patrick's Day celebrations are a highlight in the Boyne Valley. On Monday the 17th of March, music from 11am until 2.30pm at the reviewing stand will entertain the crowds in advance of the parade itself. The parade will set off from the Ring Road at 3.30pm. The colour party from the Defence Forces will lead the parade and the Forresters marching band will follow on. Find the best place to eat before or after the parade here.
Athboy
In Athboy, the St. Patrick's Day parade is a cherished tradition. This year, the theme is the 4 seasons. The parade will start at 12.30pm on the 17th of March so get in early for a good place along the street! The Darley Lodge Hotel is a great place for lunch afterwards!
Kells
Kells St. Patrick's Day parade brings music and dance to its streets. The parade will begin at 3:00 pm, with attendees enjoying local venues such as the Headfort Arms Hotel, Fifty50 Restaurant, Eureka House, or Park Rí for refreshments and meals. This is always a great day out!
Ratoath
Ratoath offers a unique twist to the traditional celebrations with its St. Patrick's Day Festival happening from the 14th to the 17th of March. Expect lots of music events, amusement park all weekend and of course the parade that will take place from 12pm on main street.
Dunboyne
A festival will be held from 1 to 5pm on the central green in Dunboyne.
With amusements for the little ones along with stalls selling local food and goods.
The parade will pass through the village at 2pm, showcasing the local clubs and societies.
There are30 groups participating in the parade coming from across the community, from childcare providers and clubs to the local Active Retired and Women's and Men's Sheds.
The theme this year is Irish Myths and Legends!
With their very own Special Olympics Gold & Silver Medalist - Emma Costello as Grand Marshall!!
There will be a local band, Jack&Joe, hosting the stage this year.
They will welcome some of our local Irish dancers on stage after the parade.
The Dunboyne Musical Society will also appear on stage to sing a couple of songs from their latest production, The Wedding Singer.

Enfield
Enfield's St. Patrick's Day parade is a vibrant affair. Enfield St Patrick’s Day Parade will start as usual at 3pm on 17th March from GAA grounds and proceed through the Main Street towards the Bridge House. The Hamlet Court Hotel is a popular spot for attendees seeking a traditional meal before or after the parade.
Slane
Where St Patrick lit the pascal fire bringing Christianity to Ireland. This is always a special day for the beautiful village of Slane. The parade will start at 3.30pm from the School and make its way down through the village. Pop into the Conyngham arms for a bite to eat on the day or make you way to the Village pub to continue the celebrations!
Ballivor
Make you way to Ballivor at 12.30pm on St Patricks Day for their parade. This is always a great day out with the kids and the perfect way to celebrate our patron saint.
Navan
Navan Shamrock festival has got a fantastic line up this year. The parade starts at 2pm in the town. There is free childrens entertainment in Church Hall as well as the Newgrange Hotel. There is also a relaxed parade space with Neurodiversity Navan.
Oldcastle
Oldcastle St Patricks Day Parade will take place at 12 noon in the town. Enjoy traditional music by local musicians as well as kids entertainment and more! Check out Farrellys Bar on Main street for the perfect tipple on the day.
Ashbourne
Ashbourne St Patricks Day Parade will take place on Monday 17th of March at 2pm. The theme this year is emerald dreams! There will be a funfair and artisan market before the parade at 12pm.
Drogheda
Drogheda are also celebrating for a full weekend for this years St Patricks Day. The festivities will start on March 14th with events each day leading up to the parade on March 17th.
On Friday you can enjoy a firework display at 8pm along the river Boyne with a carnival and market throughout the day at Scotch hall plaza.
On Saturday there will be a sensory hour starting at 12 noon at Scotch Hall plaza. Tickets available online. Followed by Special Taylor Swift tribute act plus market and carnival all day at Scotch Hall Plaza. Local musicians Dabilla unveil their ground breaking album - The Hound of Boann at 8pm Mchugh’s Barrell venue.
On Sunday 16th of March, there is a Carnival and market in Scotch Hall plaza all day.
On Monday, the main event St. Patrick’s Day parade 2025 starts at 12 noon with Drogheda United FC as Grand Marshals. There will be music on stage at St Peter’s church Plaza after parade. The Leprechaun hunt, face painting and Irish dancing in Scotch Hall shopping centre, a carnival and market on the plaza, live entertainment around the Pubs and more!
