Professional tour guide and actor, Fiona Dalton brings the local Goddess of Samhain alive in an original living history tour of the heritage town of Athboy with a two hour guided walk around the sights to see and stories to hear as well as learning about her own legend from Celtic Mythology.
The tour starts off with the history of Tlachtga and Halloween including a visit to the famous fairy Fort which is reputed to be the entrance to the underworld in Irish mythology.
Elmgrove Flower Farm will be opening its hundred acres of daffodils to the public again this year for limited dates only.
Visitors will be able to walk through millions of daffodils and fill their arms with beautiful blooms. St Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17) and Easter Sunday (March 31) are the two dates that are currently available.
These will be ticket-only events. Simply choose the hour slot (for example 9am) or slots (for example 9am and 1pm) that suit you.

The Festival Tour continues for another year, expanding in 2024 to now include three festival highlights: French comedy drama TONI, starring Camille Cottin, West African folklore tale MAMI WATA, and a specifically curated SHORTS PROGRAMME.
