SLANE CASTLE ESTATE OPENING HOURS
The Estate is currently closed to the public except for tours, events and private bookings and stays. 
CASTLE TOURS 
A tour of Slane Castle is a glimpse into the fascinating world of the Conyngham family history packed with swashbucklers and soldiers, clergy and concerts. Meet the Marchioness whose fabled romance with King George IV brought royalty to Slane. Discover the exciting history of the Castle buildings, the connection with the White House and link to iconic landscape designer Capability Browne.
Private guided tours are available all year round and need to be booked in advance. To enquire, contact the Castle directly on events@slanecastle.ie. 
Mini tours are included in the Afternoon Tea and Tour experience on selected dates.
Please note scheduled tours are not available at this time. 
PRIVATE EVENTS 
Slane Castle is available for private events including corporate and special occasions. It’s surprisingly flexible as a venue suiting everything from small intimate gatherings to large celebrations and events. Browne’s Bar, The Gandon Room Restaurant and the magnificent gothic revival Ballroom are just some of the options available. A range of live music and room decoration etc. can be organised through trusted suppliers.
