Get ready for a fun-filled day of music, poetry, arts and crafts as Féile na bPáistí brings its Midsummer Festival to the grounds of the LMETB offices on Railway Street in Navan.
The event takes place on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, from 12pm to 7pm.
With a range of activities including a market, street entertainment, workshops, have-a-go archery, giant bubble making, live music and poetry performances and a parade in the evening, there's something for everyone at this vibrant celebration of community spirit. To add to the excitement, there'll be a raffle with prizes donated by supportive local businesses including Next to Nature, McDonalds, Navamba Samba, Market Fresh and more.
Féile na bPáistí was established in 2019 by a group of local community members and volunteers who share a passion for organizing markets, festivals, and parades in Navan.
"The Midsummer Festival is all about creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, where families and friends can come together to enjoy good music, community, local produce and craft market and exciting activities," said Aoife MacNamidhe, co-chair of Féile na bPáistí. We're looking forward to transforming the LMETB grounds into a vibrant festival hub, filled with laughter, music, and adventure for all ages.
