Famous for its Rock Concerts that have been held down through the years, Slane Castle should be top of your bucket list when visiting the town. The Castle was remodelled in 1785 to its current design and was nearly lost to a devastating fire in 1991. It was restored over a 10-year period and re-opened in 2001 as a hospitality and accommodation venue.
Today, you can visit the Estate for a tour of the Castle, dine in Brown’s Bar or The Gandon Room restaurant, or take a walk along their Castle trail. Find out more on our website here.
