Spire of Lloyd Tours
Available every Friday in August. The tours run at 10am, 10.45am and 11.30am.

Guided Tours of Slane Castle
Slane Castle, situated in a dramatic setting by the river Boyne, is one of the most exciting buildings architecturally in Ireland.
Home to the Conyngham family since 1703, the historical tours cover the family’s colourful history and stories about the world-famous rock concerts.

Tasting Evening at Bellinter House
Experience the finest tastes of the Boyne Valley at Preston’s restaurant at Bellinter House with their exclusive Boyne Valley Tasting Nights. The next one is happening on the 02nd of August at 7pm.
These events showcase the talents of Bellinter’s Head Chef Stephan Moreau, along with the rich variety of local produce from the lush Boyne Valley region, including meats, dairy, vegetables, fruits, fish, and more.

Oldbridge House Farmers Market
Why not plan your meals for the week and pick up fresh meat (all grass fed and organic) and other produce from local food producers. And there is more..... wander through the cooked food stalls and enjoy delicious treats at Oldbridge! The market will take place on the 4th August. Find out more here.
Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival
The peace and tranquillity of the picturesque town of Moynalty, Co Meath will once again be broken by the sounds and sights of a bygone era as the Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival gets underway. The 49th annual event will take place on the 11th August 2024 in the grounds of the Moynalty Steam Threshing Museum and parkland in the heart of the village. Find out more here.
National Heritage Week
This year National Heritage Week will take place from 17th - 25th August and the theme is "Connections, Routes & Networks." There are lots of events taking place across the Boyne Valley for the week including living history displays, bread making at Martry Mill, Girley Bog Walk and Talk, tours of Melifont Abbey, Open house at Townley Hall and so much more. Rockfield House
