The leaves are reaching gorgeous peak colour change, there are lots of festivals to celebrate Halloween and it is the perfect time to get out and about to explore our beautiful region before the cold of the winter sets in. The Cottage Market Drogheda
The Cottage Market Drogheda takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Enjoy Artisan breads, cakes, cheese, chutneys, Indian street food, olive oil, honey, kombucha, savoury treats, organic veg, plants and a zero-waste market stall. Find out more on our website here.
Fairyhouse Races
This October, you can enjoy the Mid-Week Jumps at Fairyhouse on the 2nd of October and the return of the jumps on the 7th of October. This is a hugely popular day as the National Hunt season kicks in to action in style at the home of the Irish Grand National. Find out more here.
Solstice Arts Centre

Historic Walking tour of Kells
The new historic walking tours of Kells are taking place on October 6th, 13th and 27th at 11am from Trim Tourism and Cultural centre. Navan Racecourse

Emily McCormack Artist
Emily McCormack – Artist oil painting school and studio is located just outside Dunboyne, Co. Meath. There, she offers a wide range of workshops and dates to choose from.
Workshops are mixed levels, limited to 5 students and she caters especially for the complete beginner. Enrolment is now open for her Autumn / Winter programme as follows:

Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival
The Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival is one of the highlights of the year here in the Boyne Valley. Fun by day takes place at Emerlad Park, Beewise Nature Trail, Navan adventure Centre, Funtasia Waterpark to name a few. Púca Festival
Celebrating Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween, Púca is an authentic, immersive, and otherworldly festival. Following on from its amazing success last year, The Lú Festival of Light will be back to the streets of Drogheda from the 27th – 31st of October and 2nd – 4th of November.
