Lismullin Cookery School Artisan Baking Workshop
This full day workshop on Saturday the 27th of April will start at 10am and last approximately 6 hours with refreshments and a seasonal plant-based lunch with some freshly baked bread.
There's something truly magical about the process of making your own bread, and the team at Lismullin will guide you every step of the way.
From kneading to baking, you'll gain the skills and confidence to create bakery-quality bread in the comfort of your home.

Apple Blossom Walk at Boyne Grove Fruit Farm
Join the team at Boyne Grove Fruit farm again this April/May and you will be able to walk through the orchard that will be in full blossom, listen to informative talks, find out the importance of bees and sample different products and more.
Local produce will be available to sample and buy.

The Central Seafood Festival
Running over the 3 nights, from Friday 3rd May to Sunday, 5th May, 2024.
This Seafood Festival will offer a wide variety of seafood and shellfish dishes over the festival period. Enjoy recommended wine pairings, alongside your favourite dishes! A new venue for 2024, but the same Crayzzzy Sole Food!

Summer Soirée- An evening with Kells Gin

Each year at Dunderry Fair the street trades and skills of times gone by are demonstrated by those for whom it was once a daily chore.

Boyne Valley Tasting Dinner at the Conyngham Arms Hotel
Conyngham Arms Hotel invites you to discover the flavours of our beautiful Boyne Valley on Friday 17th May.
Commencing at 6:30pm, with a locally brewed drink on arrival.
Head Chef Jordan Smith will set us thinking of all the wonderful foodstuffs that grow, is reared, or produced all on our very own doorstep, in the bountiful Boyne Valley and surrounds.

Taste of the Estate at Tankardstown House
Brabazon Restaurant at Tankardstown House will host a 'Taste of the Estate - Food & Wine Pairing’, on Friday 7th June.
Commencing at 7pm, guests will enjoy a welcome glass of locally produced Cockagee Cider, from The Cider Mill Slane, followed by a unique 10 course Tasting Menu created by Head Chef Johnny Sarkozi and his team.
The menu will be based primarily on produce from the Walled Kitchen Garden and Poly Tunnels on the Tankardstown Estate and will be accompanied by carefully selected paired wines.

The Story of Honey at Beewise
Join Paddy and the team at Beewise on the 28th of July for The Story of Honey.
Know what it is to live like a bee within nature’s elaborate eco-system and cycle of life. Hear intriguing insights like how bees do an in-hive waggle dance to inform fellow bees about where to find the best nectar.
View the honeybees through a large working observation hive. See up close the inside of a honeybee hive from empty frame to one full with honey.
Feel the difference in weight. Then watch the liquid honey flow from a frame fresh from the hive in a glass extractor.
End with a tasting of diverse honeys such as spring, summer, and ivy honey.
Their honey, beeswax products and homemade jams are available to purchase on the day. There will be two sessions - 10am and 2pm.

Guided Farm Tours at Rock Farm
Every Thursday, Farm Tours and Shop with market stalls will take place in Rock Farm.
Tours will be at 11am and 2pm and bookable online and the shop/market will be open between 11am and 2pm. The Tours give a fascinating insight into this pioneering 90-acre organic farm and ecotourism destination on the historic Slane Castle Estate.
