The summer is really flying by here in the Boyne Valley, and before we know it, the kids will be getting ready to head back to school!

The newly opened Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway has proved a hit with visitors from all over the Country. Irelands newest Greenway traverses through County Meath and County Cavan and follows the old line of the Navan to Kingscourt Railway. The railway line opened in 1872 and was largely operated by the Midland Great Western. It ceased operation in 1947.
Discovering Navan car-free is a rewarding and enriching experience.
By slowing down and embracing alternative modes of transport, you can fully appreciate the town's historical sites, cultural treasures, restaurants and cafés and natural beauty.
