The OPW is delighted to announce that the Oldbridge Harvest Fair will once again take place in the enchanting Walled Garden on Sunday 25th September from 11am to 4pm. So why not save the date and take the family to Oldbridge to soak up the atmosphere -watch dancing displays, listen to beautiful music while sampling the fine artisan food on display. It promises to be a fun day for all the family.

Meath Libraries- Summer Stars Events

Meath Libraries Summer Stars July events are in full swing and they are taking bookings for August events from Monday, 25th of July.  

There's lots to look forward to with some Puppet Shows from the Moon and Sixpence Puppet Theatre, Coding with Scratch Workshops, Harry Potter hour and more. 

There is also a Lego Competition in Ashbourne Library and an online Harry Potter Quiz. And all of the usual regular storytime sessions will still be running.

Meath Film Festival 2022

Meath Film Festival is due to take place on Saturday the 17th of September 2022 at Solstice Arts Centre, Navan.

Festival founder and director Siún O Connor (Walterstown, Co. Meath), announced the programme of events for the upcoming Meath Film Festival at its launch event on July 13th this year. The festival will provide great opportunities for filmmakers to get involved, showcase their work and strengthen the vibrant filmmaking community in the county.
Meath Film Collective are now accepting submissions for short films from both local and national filmmakers.

Boyne Valley International Film Festival 2022

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Boyne Valley, Droichead Arts Centre and film maker Frank W. Kelly are delighted to announce the inaugural Boyne Valley International Film Festival. Curated by acclaimed filmmaker and Boyne Valley native Frank W. Kelly and Collette Farrell, Droichead Arts Centre Director, this two day event will feature the best short films from around the country, and the world, with a special focus on films made in the region.

Louth Craftmark Connective 22 Exhibition

Louth Craftmark is delighted to host their forthcoming group exhibition, Connective 22, in Gallery 13, Millmount, Drogheda. Set in the historic setting of the Millmount Craft Quarter, and home to the Drogheda Museum and Martello Tower, Louth Craftmark is delighted to be joined by Labour Party TD Ged Nash to officially open the exhibition on Friday, 8th July at 6pm. All are welcome to attend.

The free exhibition will run until Friday 5th August with opening hours from 11am to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
