Ratoath Garden Centre

Ratoath Garden Centre is a garden centre within a garden. Most of our space is taken up with planted borders. The garden centre logo is ‘mad about plants’ and as it happens the owner, John Lord, is mad about plants.

Over the years John has developed the gardens into what is now probably the largest ‘planted’ garden centre in Ireland. We have two acres of gardens which include an herbaceous border, a large prairie border, mixed borders, a woodland border and a lily pond, complete with seven turtles. They are indeed a delight to walk around and even better they are free!
