Last Friday, the 29th of September, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O Brien, announced the State’s purchase of the lands of Dowth Hall and demesne, including Netterville, in Co. Meath and the establishment of a new National Park – the Boyne Valley (Brú na Bóinne) National Park.

From old stone cottages situated on the river Boyne, Thatched cottages overlooking the Irish Sea, cosy hideaways with stove fires or something more central- we have it all.

One of our favourite months of the year here in the Boyne Valley is October! The leaves are reaching gorgeous peak colour change, there are lots of festivals to celebrate Halloween and it is the perfect time to get out and about to explore our beautiful region before the cold of the winter sets in.
