The time of year has come around again when we look forward to the phenomenon that is the Winter Solstice at Newgrange. After 2 years of live streaming the event, Brú na Boinne are happy to be welcoming people back into the tomb this year to experience the event first hand. These are the lucky few who won their places in the annual lottery. 

Black Friday originated in America when retailers dropped their prices the day after Thanksgiving to try and entice shoppers. The idea has caught on in Ireland and lots of shops, hotels and restaurants offer a reduction on their products and services for the day and into the weekend. This year, Black Friday falls on the 25th of November and we have some great offers to tell you about here in the Boyne Valley.
